Tom
I’m Tom Jamieson, Community Beekeeper with neydl. Young men find that learning this ancient craft is a total buzz – therapeutic, and affirming. Giving honey to partners and finding outlets to sell it is a pleasure too. Deep in Chopwell Woods, or high on the roof of The Baltic, it’s a whole other adventure.

I’m Andy and I’m a Peer Enabler, based in Tees Valley for North East Young Dads and Lads. I work full-time for Public Health South Tees, where I’m part of the HeadStart team working in schools delivering sessions, assemblies and activities themed around mental health and wellbeing. I love football and support Boro!

Jonah
Jonah is the peer support and education officer at NEYDL. He loves working with the lads and dads at NEYDL and is constantly surprised, amazing and humbled by the brilliant young men, fathers and families that he meets.
“Losing contact with my daughter and falling out with the mother of my child was really painful for me, especially as I was in college at the time. Getting involved in the young dads group helped support me through this time by keeping my mind active and open to new opportunities.”
