Tom

I’m Tom Jamieson, Community Beekeeper with neydl. Young men find that learning this ancient craft is a total buzz – therapeutic, and affirming. Giving honey to partners and finding outlets to sell it is a pleasure too. Deep in Chopwell Woods, or high on the roof of The Baltic, it’s a whole other adventure.

I work full-time for Public Health South Tees, where I’m part of the HeadStart team working in schools delivering sessions, assemblies and activities themed around mental health and wellbeing. I love football and support Boro!

“Losing contact with my daughter and falling out with the mother of my child was really painful for me, especially as I was in college at the time. Getting involved in the young dads group helped support me through this time by keeping my mind active and open to new opportunities.”
